VIS belts are versatile transmission solutions in all industries.
They are characterised by excellent efficiency and reliable strength even at very high process speeds.
In order to ensure the transmission of high tensile forces, polyamide is used as a tensile layer, which is given a very high tear resistance and tension-retaining elasticity by stretching and conditioning.
Since polyamide is not suitable for power transmission alone due to its low coefficient of friction, the drive side can be provided with an appropriate friction layer (elastomer, chrome leather, textile).
