Upcoming VIRTUAL TALK

18.06.2026 10:00 – 11:00 Uhr: Challenge Instead of a Traditional Specification Process: Accelerating the Path to the Optimal Packaging and Machine Solution

Procurement of packaging machinery is often slow and inefficient: long RFQ cycles, extensive requirement specifications, and proposals that are difficult to compare. We redesigned the process through a lean, technology-agnostic challenge approach that creates real comparability across different technologies within just a few months. The result: low entry barriers for suppliers and a robust decision-making basis for both development teams and procurement.

This approach is currently being implemented in a live project with Paul Hartmann AG. NOVISIO GmbH provides the platform and innovation process, PSL contributes packaging expertise and evaluation methodology, and HARTMANN acts as the end user with a concrete business need.

Together, we will share what works, what we have learned, and why this approach is relevant for any company searching for new packaging machinery and how it can be scaled across additional procurement projects within the organization.

Speaker:

  • Fabian Haferkamp, Paul Hartmann AG
  • Felix Gass, PSL
  • Felix Wieduwilt, NOVISIO GmbH
