Founded in 1894 as a mechanical workshop, Ganter introduced the first standard parts catalog already in1912 – five years before the establishment of the Deutsche Industrie Norm (DIN). The idea of standardizing industrial products, manufacturing them in economical batch sizes, storing them and selling them individually was completely new at the time. To this day, this principle is the keystone of company policy which ensures maximum customer benefit thanks to high availability and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.
