Logistikbude, a logistics start-up from the heart of the Ruhr region, was spun out of the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund in 2021 and automates the management of reusable assets such as pallets, boxes and racks. With its easy-to-use Software-as-a-Service solution, the company provides real-time visibility of stock levels, requirements and cycle times. This fully automates manual processes such as booking transactions and coordinating with business partners like suppliers or forwarder. Shippers, logistics providers and retailers also benefit from accelerated asset turnaround times and significantly reduced shrinkage and buyback rates.
