The product is first pre-grouped. With this type of machine one or two layers of products are collected (bags, boxes, blister packs, bottles or other). Meantime, a flat tray blank is taken from the magazine and is laid into a carrier chain which transfers it to the product loading station. The assembled product is cross-transferred onto the pre-positioned blank. At the next station, the carton is formed around the whole product group and sealed with hotmelt. As an option, a lid applying module can be integrated.The format range of the machine conforms to the customary national and international packing sizes. The format change is carried out quickly and without tools by means of the “J+P-simple-quick-change”.
