In Germany, FNR is the central coordinating institution for funding research, development and demonstration projects in the field of renewable resources used to produce bio-based products and/or bioenergy. The institution coordinates activities involving renewable resources throughout Germany according to the guidelines of the R&D Funding programme for Renewable Resources.
