The PPWR introduces far-reaching obligations for all producers of packaging – from the creation and provision of a “Declaration of Conformity” (DoC) based on a conformity assessment procedure and technical documentation, to the use of recyclates and the complete recyclability of all types of packaging by 2030. For many companies, this means that data must be collected, consolidated, verified, and transparently documented and demonstrated to authorities, trading partners, and customers.
