How does thinwrap perform compared to other window materials in terms of transparency, feel, and barrier properties?
thinwrap transparent is available in different levels of transparency. The paper with the highest level allows more than 80 percent of incident light to pass through, making it almost completely see-through. The shape and colour of the packaged product are visible from the outside. Relevant for retailers: barcodes can be scanned through the transparent paper.
The feel is luxurious. The paper has a glossy surface and a pleasant grip. It is lightweight yet highly tear- and tensile-resistant, with a fully coated, A-A heat-sealable surface. Another advantage: thinwrap transparent can be printed in high quality using standard printing processes such as flexographic and gravure printing.
High moisture resistance is also an important feature: thinwrap transparent can be used, for example, as protective wrapping for textiles in the humid environment of a laundry. And since it is certified for direct food contact, it is also suitable for typical on-the-go products such as sandwiches and wraps.
