A brief introduction to the KLEVERTEC competence center for applied research in food and packaging technology at Kempten University of Applied Sciences is followed by an overview of various current research projects.
The results of selected projects will then be presented in detail, including the optimization of the machine runnability of sustainable packaging materials, new sealing technologies for yoghurt cups made from recyclable materials, challenges in the practical establishment of sustainable packaging solutions for sliced cheese and innovative sensor technology for the analysis of packaged food.
