About us

The Hochschule der Medien, in particular the Packaging Technology degree programme with the affiliated Institute for Natural Materials Processing (INV), has extensive expertise in the field of packaging. With the establishment of the institute, a particular focus of research is on the use of renewable raw materials in terms of the bioeconomy. With this approach - the integration and utilisation of residual biogenic materials in packaging raw materials - the degree programme and the INV are already addressing a task that will be essential for industry in the future.
