For over 45 years, mopack has been a leading provider in the field of film packaging, offering packaging and shrink films made from polyolefin and polyethylene. The diverse and widespread applications of our film packaging enable us to offer cross-industry solutions.
Under the motto "Ready for 2030?", we are dedicating our booth this year to the requirements of the recently adopted EU Packaging Regulation PPWR and the mandated recyclability and minimum quotas of recycled material in plastic packaging. For several years now, Interzero has certified our portfolio with "very good recyclability". Our new product series "eco" and "eco+" now offer our customers high-performance and tested films with up to 80% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycling) or PIR (Post-Industrial Recycling) content.
Our aim is to offer a packaging concept optimally tailored to customer benefits and/or develop it together with the customer. This development work is significantly facilitated by close cooperation with leading manufacturers of film packaging machines. A major success of this cooperation was the development and market launch of the CT film generation, awarded the German Packaging Award, from our long-standing partner Sealed Air Cryovac. CT films are a thickness-reduced film assortment based on a patented extrusion process, allowing these unique polyolefin fine shrink films to be extruded at a film thickness of just 7 µm.
With our own brand mo-films® and the associated film types MO1, MO2, MO4, and MO7, mopack has been offering the highest quality fine shrink films with polypropylene sealing layers on the market for years. An absolute novelty from the mo-films® range is the opaque e-commerce shipping film MO-paque. The shrink or wrapping film, colored white on one side and black on the other, is available in thicknesses of 25, 30, and 38 µm and can easily replace conventional films in thicknesses of 55-60 µm.
