As the Innovation Lab of the LEIPA Group, LEIPA Flexibles develops state-of-the-art packaging solutions in the field of classic films and (paper) laminates, but also innovative high-performance barriers or thermoformable paper.

This broad spectrum offers our customers a very special advantage: We think in terms of solutions. Not in products or on the basis of a limited choice of materials.

Our globally valued corrugated base papers and cardboard packaging - both based on 100% recycling and awarded the leading environmental certificates - sensibly round off our product range in the packaging sector.

The newly founded LEIPA Sustainable Solutions Consulting team also accompanies and advises our customers on their way to sustainable and environmentally friendly concepts. In doing so, we always keep an eye on the entire process and value chain and offer holistic solutions so that not only waste is avoided, but an active contribution is made to the customers' sustainability strategy.

With around 1,700 employees, the LEIPA Group generates an annual business volume of around 1 billion euros. LEIPA converts 1.5 million tons of waste paper into high-quality paper and packaging solutions every year.

LEIPA Flexibles is dedicated to developing, producing, and serving the highest quality solutions for flexible packaging customized to many types of industries, with main focus on pharmaceutical, medical and food businesses. With almost 60 years’ expertise in developing paper-based and mono polymer-based materials, LEIPA Flexibles offers truly sustainable packaging solutions designed for recycling that meet customer needs and market regulations.

LEIPA Packaging Paper, a major market player for white corrugated base papers, we offer a wide-ranging and coherent portfolio of packaging papers. Whether as a coated white top testliner for corrugated board solutions with impressive printability, or an uncoated functional white top testliner; with high-performance runnability and optimised surface properties, our corrugated base papers ensure excellent and sustainable results. Our two paper machines in Schwedt, Germany offer high reliability and our dedicated team are on hand for technical and consulting advice.

LEIPA Solid Board is available in a substance range from 300 to 950 g/m². Besides grey, we also have brown and white uncoated boards in our range of products, both in reels and sheets. Due to its good processability, our board is ideally suitable for the production of boxes, packaging, pallet covers, book covers, envelopes and many other applications. Discover our cardboard with rounded edges which makes it perfectly suitable as Layer pads for all sorts of cans and bottles. LEIPA Graphic Paper - As pioneers in the field of lightweight coated recycled papers (LWC), and now active with SC papers, we have extensive know-how and decades of experience in the graphic segment. Our portfolio also includes a wide range of paper grades, surface finishes and basis weights - optimised for a variety of applications: from magazines to catalogues and journals to advertising inserts or even flyers. Awarded the world's leading environmental certificates, our 100% recycled papers offer tangible added value for brand owners, printers, publishers and many more.
