INTERCEPT Technology GmbH is a globally growing company with its headquarter in Eisenach. Our core business includes innovative corrosion protection products, smart overall packaging concepts and pioneering tracking solutions. The special feature of our patented corrosion protection lies in its uniqueness. Copper particles permanently bound in the polymer neutralize corrosive gases in the shortest possible time and protect the packaged goods without any outgassing or oil coatings.

INTERCEPT Technology has been a pioneer in sustainable and innovative corrosion protection since 2003. With its patented copper technology, components are reliably protected against corrosion without dangerous outgassing or costly oiling. The technology was born in the USA and was used to restore the Statue of Liberty. In order to age new copper plates more quickly, Bell Laboratories (a former research department of the telephone company AT&T) developed a method to give the newly installed copper plates of the Statue of Liberty the typical patina within a very short time. The reversal of this method was the starting signal for the INTERCEPT technology and was brought to Germany by the managing director Mr. Frank Krökel. For more than 20 years now, innovative packaging concepts have been created at the company's headquarters in Eisenach, which are used by well-known car manufacturers and in numerous other industries.
