Workshop: Packaging design, processing and realisation
How can a brand be positioned at the POS in the best possible way and appear long-lasting at the same time? Which technologies can help me to better position my product? What methods can be used to communicate directly with customers? What role can digital printing play?
The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with an understanding of the technical options available and how these would be realised along the entire process chain, from the design stage to the preliminary stage to the various printing and finishing methods. With the help of lots of case studies and models, parameters for successful packaging designs will be discussed:
- Personalisation methods involving new types of digital film processing
- Strong haptic effects that are almost identical on cardboard boxes and labels
- The effect of a brand from the POS to the consumer’s living environment
- Food-safe processing
