Polyolefin films (also commonly referred to as PO, shrink-wrap or shrink films) are characterised by their transparent and high gloss appearance, high puncture resistance and high shrinkage. They are particularly well suited for use in the presentation of products and goods (e.g. to shrink-wrap/shrink boxes of chocolate or smartphones), and to protect products.

As one of the leading suppliers for packaging films (for shrinkage and non-shrink applications based on polyolefin and polyethylene), we have been operating successfully on the market for 40 years now. The wide and varied field of application of film packaging enables us to supply well-known customers from almost all industries.

It has always been the core task of mopack GmbH to offer a packaging concept that is optimally aligned to the customer's benefit, or to develop this concept together with the customer. The development work is significantly supported by the close cooperation with one of the leading manufacturers of film packaging machines. For example, mopack made a decisive contribution to the development and market launch of the "CT film generation" of its long-term partner Sealed Air Cryovac, which was awarded the German Packaging Prize at FachPack 2013. CT films are a reduced-thickness film range based on a patented extrusion process, so that these unique polyolefin fine shrink films can be extruded from a film thickness of just 7 µm.

With its own brand mo-films® and the associated film types MO1, MO2, MO4 and MO7, mopack has been offering what are probably the best quality fine shrink films with polypropylene sealing layers on the market for years. A new addition to the mo-films® range is the opaque e-commerce shipping film MO-paque. The one-side white/one-side black shrink film or shrink-wrap film is offered in thicknesses of 25, 30 and 38 µm and can easily replace commercially available films in thicknesses of 55-60 µm.

Films made from recycled plastics are an fundamental element in the long-term plastics strategy of politics and industry. We have also committed ourselves to this sustainable and forward-looking approach and have developed two new high-performance product lines, "eco" and "eco+". Products from these product lines are based on our standard films, supplemented by a percentage of recyclate from industrial (PIR) or end-user waste (PCR).
