Future-oriented by tradition
The FFI - Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie e.V. - bundles and represents the interests of the folding carton industry along the entire supply chain in all issues.
It formulates the concerns of its members in dialog with politicians, the media and the public. In doing so, the FFI focuses on the political, legal and technical issues that are important for the industry. The technical work, supported by the know-how of the committees and working groups as well as the FFI, ensures the establishment of innovative industry standards. Other focal points of the association's work are practical training courses, up-to-date know-how transfer and the establishment of a networking platform that promotes exchange between members.
Founded in 1948, the association has over 60 member companies and 40 supply chain partners, representing two-thirds of industry sales.
A strong association
FFI's 60+ member companies cover all stages of the supply chain from manufacturing to distribution of folding cartons and represent about two-thirds of industry sales (as of 2020). The member companies produce around 950,000 tons of folding cartons annually at around 80 sites, which corresponds to a production value of around 1.94 billion euros. Around 40 partner companies from the supply chain are also represented in the FFI as associate members. The FFI has its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.
