Series 97 stainless steel cylinders can be used in critical applications where a high level of corrosion resistance is required (for example: off-shore, naval, food industries).
These cylinders are normally equipped with end-stroke cushioning which can be adjusted through a screw on the end block.
In order to quieten the impact of the piston on the end block, these cylinders are also equipped with mechanical cushioning.

The gripper that integrates the functions of a hand

Camozzi Automation smart gripper integrates an innovative technological concept with the functions of a hand, combining flexibility, efficiency, ergonomics and intelligence all in one device.

It can perceive objects and analyse and estimate their weight, size, and distance.

THE PROJECT:
This research project is developed with IIT Italian Institute of Technology in Genova. It aims to develop a series of products and technologies for the Camozzi grippers of the future.

The gripper is equipped with an integrated sensor system capable of collecting information about the grasped component and the surrounding environment, processing it and implementing appropriate reactions based on the situation.

The goal is to interface the gripper to the cobots on the market in the simplest way - a "plug & play" solution - using the most common communication protocols. This solution would increase process productivity and waste reduction, improve operator and plant safety, and grant greater flexibility and reusability.

It is one of several technological developments toward a smart, innovative, interconnected and eco-sustainable factory.

Series D is a new valve system that ensures maximum flexibility and productivity across many primary industrial automation processes. It's available in both multipole and serial communication versions.

The Series D valve island is also equipped with CoilVision® technology which can monitor and predict the wear and efficiency status of selected parts of the solenoid valves. The gathered data, alarm history, and health status are indicated through different combinations of flashing LEDs on the module and can be sent to a PLC or to a wireless IIoT gateway and then on to the Cloud.
