A first step towards a circular economy from evolution towards the revolution of sustainable packaging
Packaging has a central place in our lives, it protects food and non-food products, but the ever increasing pressure on the environment and the limited availability of the fossil-based resources (oil stocks) create serious questions.
We also have to take into account that we still want to spend many years in a quality environment, on a healthy planet!
Ask us for our certified solutions.
Servo Artpack, which is present since more than 40 years in the market of printed flexible packaging, is proud to present our latest innovation with BIO-BASED packaging; a new 4-star Vinçotte Biobased certified, 4-corner sealed, high barrier, roto-gravure printed, 250 g coffee-bean bag, made of bio-based materials, which we consider a small first step towards a circular economy.
When we speak of BIO-BASED, we talk about a packaging material which is made out of renewable resources, such as cellulose and sugarcane residue. Whereas regular coffee-packaging is made out of fossil-based resources (oil), which have a negative impact on the environment, this BIO-BASED material is made out of > 85% renewable resources.
This certified innovative result has been realised by Servo Artpack thanks to the partnership with Peeze Koffie (The Netherlands, www.peeze.nl).
Both of us with the same goal; to be ahead in the market, with a premium quality product, to secure a sustainable growth, with as less as possible negative impact on the environment.
For this we are continuously working to improve ourselves. Peeze by working with the latest possible environmental friendly packaging for coffee and Servo Artpack by working with the latest developments in BIO-BASED raw materials and with the right printing and laminating technique to guarantee a final BIO-BASED film working well on the packaging machine.
