VCIFORCE FILMS are a polyethylene films with volatile VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors ) and offer a high level of corrosion protection along with an excellent barrier properties.
They are available in various thicknesses and styles.
The mono-extruded VCI films are effective in both directions and are particularly suitable for intermediate layers.
Co-extruded VCI films work only in one direction and this prevents spin out of VCI and is for this they provides a significantly longer protection period.
They are suitable both for packing machinery and mechanical parts as well as for lining crates, cages and boxes
Product description
VCIFORCE FILM is made by inserting the active principle VCI into the molten mass during the film extrusion phase. Subsequently VCI is able to sublimate from plastic by guaranteeing corrosion protection of packed metal parts. It is available in various forms of flat film packaging, tubular, single-piece, gusetted bag, square bag, cover, pressure closure envelope, sheets, shrink film, film for automatic systems etc.
Technical data
Normally 1 m2 of film can protect up to 8/10 m2 of metal surface. Clearly the more the piece to be packed is near the emitter, the better is the effectiveness of the anti-corrosion protection.
Recommended Applications
Recommended for preservation and corrosion protection of ferrous and non ferrous metals including steel, iron, cast iron. At customer’s request, the film being produced can be treated with anti-UV additives, flame retardants and anti-static ESD.
Proper storage mode
Keep in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight and in closed packaging, even during partial use (overnight, weekends and holidays). Storage life of at least 24 months.
Attention: always wash your hands well after handling the product and before eating!
