Today Acti Pack is offering new applications to its PET bottles and jars thanks to “Hot Fill” ISBM technology improving PET packaging heat resistance. Then products with temperature constraints such as jams, sauces or pasteurised products have new packing solutions in PET.
Hot filling technology is used to improve product shelf life or to facilitate the filling of products with high viscosity.
The heat resistance will be optimum with the use of specific “Hot Fill” PET raw material. The adding of improving oxygen barrier agent will increase the shelf life of the product. For products with less restricting heat resistance, standard PET raw material can be used.
A new "Hot Fill" range is widening our offer: PET bottle Volcano is available in 500ml and adapted to filling temperature of 90°C maximum, maximum filling temperature that may vary according to filled products, process of filling and cooling and storage condition.
Developed with standard neck screw 38 mm, "Volcano" is suiting several existing closures from the market, with or without valve, with different sealing possibilities.
