Aroma protection-/pressure-relief valves for maximum freshness protection for outgassing foods.
Aroma protection valves are designed for outgassing foods such as:
Roasted coffee beans and ground coffee, fresh yeast dough or sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) and other raw fruit and vegetable products.
Coffee packaging with pressure-relief aroma protection valves ensures freshness of beans and aroma for months. Accumulating gases can escape without the package inflating or even bursting. This way the quality and full aroma is kept even when stored for a longer period.
Freshly roasted coffee can be packaged directly, although it may still produce up to 6 liters of CO2 for one kilogram of beans. The valve opens as soon as the filling creates excessive pressure.
Aroma protection-/pressure-relief valves are manufactured and tested at our own production facility. They can be ultrasonically welded and heat-sealed to the packaging. The ultrasonic technology allows frequencies of >100 1/min. The valve, located inside, is visible from the outside by three small holes only and a circular welding seam which does not affect the packaging design.

Our inline padding systems are designed to be integrated in thermoforming machines. Directly after the tray production process, the pads are inserted automatically into the trays and fixed by ultransonic welding or hot melt on the bottom of the trays.
Through this the production process will be increased, several manufacturing processes are inapplicable and production area is saved. The handling is operated by scara robots or linear handling systems. The scara robot is an internal development is used in thermoforming machines, if the space is limited.
Generally the pad material is prepared on rolls and positioned in a unwinding station with a splicing unit. If the end of the roll is arrived, the ends of the active and reserve rolls will be welded and changed automatically without a stop of the machine.
A motor driven loop accumulator conveys the pads to the cutter without a tensile load. The pads will be cutted on the defined length and transferred to the vacuum belt. There the pads will be taken by the handling system, inserted into the trays and fixed by ultrasonic or hot melt.

Valve applicators are developed for welding valves into a film web by ultrasonic and can be integrated in existing or new packaging lines.
Our valve applicators are designed as a "stand alone" machine as a simple method to integrate in the packaging line. For optimising the packaging process on a high level, the valve applicators can be designed on customers demand directly into the packaging machine.
