The German Packaging Institute (dvi) is the only network within the packaging industry which unites its members from all levels of the value chain. As a partner for companies, industry, experts, the public and policy, the dvi supports the transfer of expertise and facilitates dialogue between industry stakeholders. The dvi is a platform for information, insights, impulses and exchange on all packaging matters.

dvi initiatives include: Day of Packaging; the German Packaging Award (Deutscher Verpackungspreis); the German Packaging Congress; the Dresden Packaging Conference; PackVision and the Packaging Academy (Verpackungsakademie) training seminars and in-house training.
