Case erector
(different versions)

The case erector automatically erects cases of corrugated board with bottom flaps edge to edge. The bottom flaps can be sealed either with adhesive tape or hotmelt,
at a speed up to 25 cases / minute.

Functional description
Pre-glued case blanks are positioned vertically in a horizontal magazine for being taken. The magazine can be refilled during production, without stopping the machine. A low installation of the magazine allows an easy and ergonomic refilling for the operators. A traverse with vacuum powered suction cups picks up the single case blanks out of the magazine and erects them precisely rectangular. Then the inner bottom flaps are folded and the case is pushed rightangled into the side belt conveyors. These are spring-loaded in order to compensate manufacturing variations in case dimensions. During the belt transport the outer bottom flaps of the case are automatically folded and closed safely with adhesive tape or hotmelt.

Layer-Palletizer series PL:
The Layer-Palletizer is suitable for all products, especially for those which cannot be sucked up or gripped. The Layer-Palletiszer first forms a group of products and then pushes them onto the pallet. The products enter the machine at the intake. Depending on requirement, the products are turned, either to achieve the desired packing arrangement or to place them in the correct position for labelling. In an elevator unit, the packaged units are raised to level of the palletising table and pushed onto it. On the palletising table, an entire layer is formed and then transferred to the pallet.

Portal palletizer series PP:

ortal palletizers work with 4-axis grab system/ vacuum system. They are especially suitable for products that can not be pushed. Grab or vacuum systems position the products on the pallet. Higher performances and complicated pallet patterns also require the use of portal palletizers. Portal palletizers convince with their particularly compact design.

Palletizing robot:
Robot palletizers work with 4-or 6-axis industrial robots, with maximum flexibility and reliability. They are the preferred solution for products that you can grab or vacuum. Palletizing robots are the first choice if versatility are required.

Case sealer
Series HV

The Heripack case sealer receives the folded boxes from the previous operation. With production processes in batches, only one size of box is sealed at the top and bottom with
tape. The case sealer automatically adjust itself to the carton size. The box is held in position and guided through the sealing operation by the lateral conveying belts. The front and lid flaps are folded manually by the operator. Because of the large rolls of tape used, frequent changing of material is unnecessary, thereby increasing the speed of production.

The carton sealer is available in different versions. From the stainless steel version to a high version for "high" cartons - we have a solution for every packaging process!

Casepacker SL500

For case filling Heripack offers side loaders and top loaders. Top loaders are mainly used for products which need to be placed in the case well-directed via pick & place principle or bulk products which can be dropped from above into the case.

Sideloader
A side loader is a case packer for pre-glued case blanks, so-called American Cases. The blank is opened and transported through the machine lying flat, bottom and lid flaps open. The products are grouped and filled into the case laterally via the open bottom or lid flaps. After that the flaps are turned and bottom and lid are closed via hotmelt or adhesive tape.
Side loaders are mainly used for products which are difficult to grab or to be vacuumed. Cartoning machines which work mainly with pre-glued carton blanks of cardboard are also offered by Heripack Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG. They belong also to the category of side loaders.

Toploaders
our top loader handle with the pick & place principle. The products are vacuumed or gripped and placed into the case well-directed. This can be made layer by layer or product by product. Beside pre-glued case blanks (American Cases) also display trays can be processed on the top loaders of Heripack. No matter if sensitive products in food industry, heavy products of non-food area or flexible products of pharmaceutical sector: Heripack offers top loaders with reliable technology for end-of-line packaging of your products.

 

Bottom-flap folder series HB
The bottom-flap folder folds the end and bottom flaps in automatically. The box is then fixed in position ready for the next operations, filling and sealing.

The box is placed it in the Heripack Bottom-Flap Folding Unit. The box is then centred and the folding blades fold the bottom end flaps in. The bottom lengthwise flaps are also folded in. The box (fixed in position) is now ready for filling. The troublesome work of holding the box in position is no longer necessary and the operator has both hands free to fill the box. After filling, the operator folds the lid flaps in manually and pushes the box into the sealing machine.
