WICOFLEXCAN® has been invented to offer a three-dimensional packaging instead of using a can. The packaging gives your product an utmost shelf-life and reduces the pack- aging volume to a minimum. By applying cold forming, any fragmented filling product is tightly packed into the body of the pack. Afterward, a lid is applied that allows forming. Your product may be flushed by nitrogen or you may draw a vacuum inside the packaging. Compressed air allows to achieve the form you need. You may apply sterilization or pasteurization processes on the packages after filling.
Taking the environment into consideration, you will notice the reduction of transpor- tation costs and space needed to distribute your product. The packaging is very economical, thus allowing also large surface products to be packed very efficiently. Marketing-wise, the packaging offers all options to enhance the high-end impression of the pack compared to a traditional can. The products to pack are versatile, not only food but also non-food applications may be used. The extreme tightness against water and gases allows the product a shelf-life of up to 5 years.
