Collaborative driverless transport solutions by IIS Automation
Modular MiR100 inspires by economic efficiency and high operational safety
As authorised dealer of Mobile Industrial Robots in Germany IIS Automation distributes the MiR100, an efficient and user-friendly mobile robot for the automation of house-internal logistics in industry and health sector. By the reduction of manual transports, e. g. in hospitals, human resources can be used more sensibly to raise the operational effectiveness by an increase in productivity.
Efficient house-internal logistics thanks to ingenious technology
The ingenious technology of the MiR100 allows the application of the independently driving and autonomous maneuverable transport platform as a collaborating system in dynamic surroundings. Wireless and without an external sensor system the moving robot at a maximum speed of 5,4 km/h detects the operating radius by installed 3D camera, two on-board scanners and ultrasound sensors, makes way to stationary or movable obstacles and comes to rest on time when humans are ahead.
Easy handling and control via WLAN
By reason of an exceptionally user-friendly software the in-house programming of the robot is a breeze. The handling via WLAN is possible by mobile terminals such as smartphone, tablet or PC. By means of a virtual map of the surroundings the exact position of the robot is revisable any time.
Module solutions for the custom-tailored transport programme
The platform with a cargo area of 600 x 800 mm can be equipped with different module solutions fitted on the concrete duties. The construction of the robot permits the equipment with stands and the combination with trailers. A module change is slightly possible any time if different modules should be used. The load carrying capacity of the MiR100 is limited on 100 kg, its tractive force amounts 300 kg. An always optimum weight distribution and good ground contact arise from the „Boogie suspension“.
Maximum economic efficiency
The mobile industrial robot quickly yields well from the investment; the payback period often amounts less than a year. For an economic operating and service the MiR100 was equipped with worldwide approved components by Sick, Phoenix Contact and Scheider Electric. Servicing intensive components which may be replaced on occasion such as the on-board batteries with a maximum range of 20 kilometres or 12 hours, the engine and the wheels are enclosed in an enlarged optional service and maintenance contract.
Do not miss getting to know the MiR100 at FachPack trade fair from 27-29 September 2016 at Nürnberg. As co-exhibitor of Robotic Pack Line, hall 3 / stand 3-429, the IIS Automation team is looking forward to your visit!
