For the self-service area, TREIF offers the bread cutting machine DISKUS SB. The machine is ideal for slicing all sorts of bread. The infeed length is 380 mm. The bread is gripped automatically and the residual product is ejected without operator intervention.
The operator can select one of three cutting thicknesses (8, 10 or 12 mm) by simply pressing the button. DISKUS SB bears the GS approval mark for tested safety. The slicing process starts not before the cover is closed. The safe cover lock prevents the operator accidentally touching the blade or the gripper.
All TREIF bread slicers are universal machines fitted with circular blades, which do not require blade lubrication even when slicing freshly baked bread.
The Teflon-coated blade has unique toothing and a special grinding finish. Thanks to the planetary gearing, the circular blade moves through the loaf with a very long cutting length. This creates a more precise, yet smoother cut which is very gentle on the loaf. The circular blades – the “core” of the machines – are manufactured by TREIF in their in-house blade manufacturing. TREIF is the only manufacturer of bread cutting machines that has an own blade manufacturing.
