The portion slicing machine FALCON hybrid+ is specialized in slicing portions of a prescribed weight as well as slices to a certain thickness without any kind of weight specification. It processes products without bones as well as with bones. That is what the name “hybrid” stands for. FALCON hybrid+ is characterised by its yield-optimised slicing.
The 4D camera system for measuring the products joins forces with top-speed computer technology which is (among other features) the basis for yield-optimised slicing. Four cameras measure the product extensively so that the machine exactly knows where to make the cut.
In addition, the driven, contour-controlled TREIF down holder that works perfectly together with the product gripper plays an important role for the precision and as a consequence for best results for the yield balance because the down holder and the product gripper both stabilize the product during the cutting process.
Different software programs meet special requirements. The FALCON hybrid+ e.g. allows a specific tolerance range within which the weight of the individual slices may vary. Yield on some products can be up to 100% thanks to innovative software.
For indicating the frying time on the trays, it is possible to specify that the slices should not be greater than or less than a certain thickness.
FALCON hybrid+ can be combined with state-of-the-art robot technology. With up to 100 picks per minute, the robots ensure reliable sorting of the slices, e.g. into packages, and a smooth flow of the production process.
