Gerade für die Depalettierung von Produkten, ob Kartons, KLT, Reifen, o.ä. ergeben sich verschiedene Anforderungen. So kann zum Beispiel das Palettierbild / Lagenbild nicht bekannt sein, die Orientierung des Lagenbildes bzw. der Palette nicht bekannt sein oder auch die Position des Produktes in der Lage nicht definiert sein.
Die RO-BER Industrieroboter hat daher ein kamerabasiertes Technologiepaket entwickelt und in die Steuerungsumgebung der Portalroboter komplett integriert.

RO-BER Industrieroboter GmbH was founded in Berlin in 1983, which explains its name: RO-bots from BER-lin. In 1992 the company moved to Kamen near Dortmund, the logistic hub of North Rhine-Westphalia. As a result of the increasing growth of the company, RO-BER relocated to the current spacious premises in Felix-Wankel-Strasse, Kamen. In 2013 RO-BER celebrated its 30th anniversary. Over the past 32 years more than 1,000 robot systems have been installed.
RO-BER has established itself as a prominent manufacturer of gantry robots for automation in material flow and goods distribution and material handling tasks in the field of logistics in almost all industrial branches. The core expertise of the company lies in the development and construction of gantry robot systems. High-performance gantry robots (area and linear gantry robots) in combination with components of product transport and handling technology offer a wide range of solutions for complex tasks in the fields of palletising, depalletising, order picking as well as material transfer, buffering, storing and (de-)stacking.
Robust construction and state-of-the-art modular design, which allow for cost-effective adaptation to specific customer requirements, guarantee adjustment of the gantry robots of the series GENIX and GIGANT with 100 kg, 300 kg and 1,000 kg payload to almost any task.
Collations to be handled vary from branch to branch. Typical examples are cartons, shrink wrap, foldable boxes, trays, buckets, printing products, but also bottles, crates, barrels and kegs. RO-BER offers interesting solutions for task definitions in the beverage industry, particularly in the field of order picking and handling of empties. Installations for palletising of boxes and cans als well as for handling of carton packed fruit juice or beverages in PET or glass have been realised.
Furthermore, RO-BER high-speed robots have delivered an optimal performance in several installations of integrated passenger and luggage logistics at airport terminals.
