Beverage commissioning made easy
The gantry robots PRO 03 and PRO 04 can be used for palletizing almost all products within the consumer goods industry - for products such as bundles, boxes, bags, standard cases, bakery baskets and packs. What characterizes these gantry robots is their high flexibility, large operating range and precision in handling. The system can be designed with either Siemens or Rockwell technology. The PRO 03 moves along three different axes: the X-axis (lengthwise movement), the Y-axis (crosswise movement) and the Z-axis (up and down movement). The Z-axis is a telescopic one that due to its unique design requires little head room even when working with very high pallets and can be used in buildings with low ceilings. The highly flexible gripper assortment makes the handling of many different types of products possible while also being able to place intermediate sheets and pallets. The PRO 03 gantry robot can stack different products arriving from a variety of production lines onto different pallets. This robot’s variable width allows for serving a large number of parallel palletizing positions.
The main axis and the gripper of the PRO 03 are maintenance free and less maintenance times result in a very low amount of downtime.
All safety relevant units such as protective grating, access doors and safety photo-eyes are part of the scope of delivery. We deliver a complete system to our customers which can be optionally equipped with the PalletMaker software to give the operator the possibility to generate new patterns directly on the machine’s HMI.
The function and technical features of the PRO 04 are almost identical with those of the PRO 03. The PRO 04 differs from the PRO 03 mainly as regards the use of a rigid Zaxis instead of a telescoping Z-axis. The use of a rigid Z-axis makes the lifting of much heavier loads possible. In this way the application of the gantry robot can be expanded into a large variety of applications. For example, it is possible to handle complete pallet layers with a single gripper system.
