Optimum utilization of the entire cargo space securing of cargo by large number of possible variants.
The container storage system "CORFEX" standardizes and simplifies the partition of shipping space and securing cargo while loading freight containers.
It can be used in all cargo holds with trapezoidal sheet metal walls. It enables fast, safe and enjoyable loading for the staff (safe & healthy). The elements could be mounted and dissembled quietly without any tools and with a minimal risk of injury.
To send for example furniture or other, non-stackable goods by seafreight worldwide, costly scaffolding structures are normally built from different timbers to create load levels in containers.
Also most diverse wooden beams are braced in the container for securing the load. In this case, not only the container can be damaged. If these woods break or slip out, it can also happen that the transport safety is no longer guaranteed and goods getting damaged probably.
The patented system consists only of two components, supports and crossbars, and allows for flexible division of the container interior. In addition, the closing of Gaps between packages can be simplified. As well CORFEX allows the installation of partitions in a horizontal, vertical or in duplex mode with little effort. All components of the system comply with the IPPC standards and are marked accordingly as required.
For assembly, two lateral supports of OSB are placed in the respective opposite wells of the container wall, so-called creases, into which they fit flush. The cross-bars, the ends of which are inserted in the recesses of the supports, connecting the supports with one another without any tension. A bracing of squared timber, as previously usual in practice, is eliminated.
The rear spacer in the support stabilizes and simultaneously prevents that the cross bar can unhook. The cross bar itself has a milled rebate on the underside, which ensures that the support does not fall inwards.
Because the dimensions of the elements are selected in each case slightly less than the internal dimensions of the container, some flexibility in the overall system is maintained. This has the advantage that the container will not get damaged by an unfavorable distribution of pressure - especially not by point pressure load. At the same time already existing deformations such as dents or bumps can be absorbed or egalized.
Compared to methods that correspond to the prior art, CORFEX is thus significantly less susceptible to interference and less wear, which results a longer life of the individual components and the overall system.
Variable and flexible design of the system components:
The height of the recesses and the securing elements (rear spacers) of the OSB-supports can be variably implemented according to requirements. Even two-sided usable supports are included in the delivery program. Depending on whether these supports being placed with the front or back side in the creases, thereby arise different altitudes of the crossbars.
Alternative supports profiles allow the use of cross bars with larger cross sections. Thus, the system can also be used for heavier packaged goods.
For transport, for example, of round material, a wave-shaped design of the cross bar´s surface is also conceivable. The design as a comb strip or a coating with anti-slip materials remain open as a variant, to allow even more versatile applications to the system.
