Weber GmbH, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-tech slicing technology, presents the compact Weber Model 405 Slicer, designed to provide entry- and mid-level processors a rapid return on their investment and to supplement the existing slicing lines of already successful meat and cheese processors.
Equipped with the circular knife system developed and perfected by Weber, the new 405 Slicing System will efficiently slice and accurately portion products with widths of up to 330-mm and a maximum length of 1,200-mm.
Operating at speeds of up to 600-RPM, the powerful new Weber 405 can be quickly and easily adjusted to consistently deliver slice quality at any thickness ranging from 0.1 to 50-mm. A wide variety of portion shapes are also a standard benefit of the Weber 405 design. Select popular presentations with touch screen ease, including shingles, stacks and larger piece presentations.
Other features of Weber’s trailblazing technology previously reserved only for companies using Weber’s largest slicers are now available to processors selecting the new Model 405. Included is an adjustable blade head housing with a slicing throat height of 120-165 mm and a separate blade drive that helps assure slice quality.
To satisfy customers' requests, the Slicer 405 is now available with an Interleaver specifically designed to allow precise operation at full speed. Now processors desiring precise cheese portions or super-thin ham slices separated by paper or film can rely on the Slicer 405 to achieve its fullest potential, operating at sheet lengths of 110-mm at full output of 600 cuts per minute. The new CCI can be equipped with paper and foil rolls with a maximum diameter of 400 mm instead of the current 320-mm.
Operation of the Slicer 405 may be further enhanced through selection and in-line operation of other Weber modules, including precision scales and a creative portion designer.
As always, Weber’s intelligent, modular construction and special hygienic design assure easy and complete accessibility for fast and thorough cleaning. Attention to the smallest detail is a hallmark of Weber design and machine construction and a unique quality that contributes to Weber’s worldwide leadership and customer satisfaction.
