The A128 is an innovative printing system based on our modus6 that can label on pneumatic axis up to three sides of a pallet.
The labels can be printed directly before labelling with individual data. Several thermal transfer printing systems from the manufacturers Valentin, SATO, Datamax, Avery, Zebra and CAB are integrated.
The labelling is done at a standstill of the pallet . Only one pallet stop is required for labelling each corner.
The transfer of the label to the surface will be done by a adjustable force of the applicator and by air pressure.
For the A128 three control options are available. By default, a microcontroller is used, which is specifically tailored to the A128 features. Upon request, the labeling system is also integrated with a PLC or available as a fieldbus slave for direct integration into Siemens Profibus DP environment.
The option "Efficient RFID"
Today many pallets require a Transport RFID tag with the EAN128 standard for shipping.
For this request the A128 has an economical and flexible solution. The “Efficient RFID”-Adapter can be attached to the A128. The Adapter stores RFID-Tags on a roll. The Tags are without glue or substrate.
If a RFID tag is required, the system writes variable information with the integrated UHF / write reader (868 MHz) to the Tag, checks the written information, cut it off the roll and then automatically sticks it to the sticky surface of the actual thermal transfer identification label, which has already been printed parallel with the same item-specific information of the Tag.
Both labels are then glued together on the pallets, either to the front or side
- whatever you want.
The RFID-writing process is obviously verified. Improper tags will not be donated, but funnelled into the "Bad Tag" containers, without affecting the production process negatively.
