The new generation of thermosensitive labels by Bizerba have a significantly improved thermal reagent which is already contained within the material. This allows the utmost precision in printing and prevents bothersome misprints.
In contrast to the thermotransfer process, the labels react within rather than on the material, which makes the print extremely robust against external physical conditions. In addition, the surface-sealed material from paper or thermosensitive film ensures scratch resistance and extensive water tolerance – an advantage especially for products which have a long journey to their destination or come into contact with condensation.
Bizerba supplies the labels pre-printed with up to eight colours or blank depending on requirement. An industrial price labeller or shop scales input the price, the exact weight and information such as images or logos into the pre-set area on pre-printed labels. This saves time and material because only part of the label requires printing. In this way the print heads also last longer. As labels are also an important communication and marketing tool for sales of products, pre-printed, thermosensitive labels also benefit from the option of having colour printing and are thus superior to black-and-white thermotransfer labels.
Highest quality and flexibility
Bizerba uses only high quality paper for the thermosensitive labels. They can be additionally marked with an RFID or RF tag on request which hinders theft and label fraud.
The new generation of thermal labels are available in three different qualities to meet all the demands of clients as far as material is concerned. Bizerba machines can apply thermosensitive labels to the packaging at a top rate of up to 200 packs per minute. There is no need to adapt the existing labelling devices.
