The Schedel company’s priority is to provide competent and reliable customer care, good quality and good service with the aim of achieving success on a mutually beneficial basis.
With factories in Johannesburg and Cape Town, the Schedel family is able to draw on many years of experience in working with polystyrene and in 1991 was able to take over the production division of Jenoptik GmbH in Falkenstein.
Kunststofftechnik Schedel GmbH was established in the same year.
At this time, the company started specializing in the production of technical moulded components (all kinds of packaging) and became a supplier of pearl materials to the cleaning industry.
A new sales strategy in 1993 resulted in a new product line being introduced: Schedel – MULTISTAR* - tub supports. The product range now includes more than 5300 different models.
In 1996, Schedel took over the sales branch of Jacob GmbH in Cadolzburg and was thus able to further expand the production of components moulded from EPP, EPE and EPS.
Boosting further growth.
The official opening of a new production site and warehouse on the Neuensalz industrial estate in 2004 launched a new chapter in the company’s history. The production range for creative and innovative bathroom design has been steadily developed over the years with the aim of enabling the company to respond to special requirements with individual solutions.
Our team demands commitment, flexibility and motivation. That these demands are fulfilled is also demonstrated by the TÜV certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO, which the company has held since 1988.
