TREIF is a growing and leading international business in the field of food cutting technology.
With approx. 420 employees worldwide TREIF is developing and manufacturing innovative machines, production lines and systems exclusively for cutting and slicing food. The company is developing and executing customer oriented cutting solutions for shop applications, supermarkets, canteens and industry including automated production line solutions and systems for slicing food meat, sausage, cheese, bread and confectionery.
For this purpose, TREIF maintains four Competence Units which combine the world’s greatest range of food cutting technology under one roof: DICING (frozen and fresh meat, e.g. goulash), PORTION CUTTING (of bone-in and boneless meat, e.g. chops, also to fixed weight), SLICING (e.g. ham, salami, cheese etc.) and BREAD CUTTING.
TREIF is represented in more than 150 countries by sales partners (about 70% export share). The company is represented in the United Kingdom, USA, France and Belgium by its subsidiary companies, in China by its representative office. The name TREIF goes back to the founder´s name Toni Reifenhaeuser. Since 1989, his son Uwe is the Managing Director. In 2016 the new customer center has been opened. TREIF is now also member of the “Hidden Champions” list.
